Pacific Islands Trade & Invest

Exporting the Pacific Islands to the World

In 2009, the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat contracted Gen.a to develop a cohesive brand and communications strategy for its international trade and investment promotion arm, Pacific Islands Trade & Invest.

With offices in New Zealand, Australia, China, Japan and Switzerland, Pacific Islands Trade & Invest is responsible for promoting trade and investment to further economic growth in the region. The strategy supports the core goals and objectives of the organisation in creating business opportunities between Pacific Island countries and their trading partners over the next 10 years.

Gen.a’s involvement in the project included the development of a strategic communications plan for Pacific Islands Trade & Invest, re-naming and brand identity, concept development and design of marketing collateral, and recommendations for a new website and digital marketing strategy. Through our on-going relationship with Pacific Islands Trade & Invest, we have also written and designed their annual report for the years between 2010-2013.
