Within the context of building a coherent plan to engage New Zealand businesses in a long term legacy plan for the hosting of RWC2011, the New Zealand Government engaged Gen.a to develop an annual strategic platform and decision-making process for projects related to nation building. The aim was to design a world-first interactive ‘Nation Building’ programme celebrating New Zealand’s talent and inspirational achievers.
Additionally, the Economic Development Association New Zealand (EDA) engaged gen.a to facilitate the discussion between the CEOs of all 14 local Economic Development Associations to develop a coherent plan for national engagement in conjunction with the hosting of the RWC2011. The aim was to encourage local businesses to take full advantage of the event opportunity in creating a comprehensive offer to foreign businesses and investors for the long-term benefit of New Zealand.
