Panthers Group is a diversified Australian holding that has activities in a range of sectors such as real estate, entertainment and sports. Since 2008, Gen.a has been working with Panthers Group to revisit the brand on three levels.
Firstly, it was essential that the history and legacy
of the brand and its role in the community was understood within the context of the business. Secondly, there was a need to establish a strong corporate image for the Group that fitted with its position as a confident and established leader in
their sector. This included a new identity, business-to-business marketing collateral and communications including the launch of a new legacy brand - 19.12 and accompanying 19.12 magazine. Thirdly, as a business with substantial interests in 14 community entertainment venues across NSW, a coming of age was required for these venues.
The initial project included a brief to reposition the Group’s flagship venue, Penrith Panthers, within the local community as a place synonymous with value and community pride. The scope involved internal design projects for Osso Restaurant and Evan Theatre as part of a $30 million refurbishment of the Club; place-branding strategies and a full suite of marketing communications.
