kris mcintyre

Kris is primarily responsible for the editing and content development of publishing and web projects for Gen.a. She was the contributing editor of the International Trade Centre’s quarterly magazine, the International Trade Forum. She has also been engaged as an editor, writer, project manager and strategist on projects including Fairtrade International, Pacific Islands Trade & Invest, Brand Botswana, KPMG Australia, Parramatta City Council, AUSTAR and the UN Global Compact (Australian Network).

Kris has more than 18 years experience in brand marketing and tourism, including roles with Peppers Retreats and Resorts, and most recently as Group Synergies Manager for Australia’s largest travel and hotel company, Stella Group (Mantra Group and Stella Travel Services). 

As a freelance writer, Kris has written for publications including Marie Claire (South Africa), body+soul (News Limited Australia), Australian Yoga Journal, Spa Life, dumbo feather and holidaygoddess.com. Kris was also the host and content producer for Australia’s Yoga TV.

She has also worked in the Media Unit of the Australian Red Cross and is the founder of Oxfam Australia’s Exchange for Change ethical fashion campaign.
